Introduction

This RACI sets out how work should be shared while K & Co Contracting transitions from owner-led delivery into a more structured construction business. Khalib remains involved as Director during the transition, Ali is moving into the Office Manager role, and the Project Manager function is being created so responsibilities can be handed over clearly and consistently.

The table below should be used as the default operating reference for internal decisions, handovers, and escalation during the transition period.

Role Notes

Director

Accountable for commercial decisions, quote approval, high-level client issues, cashflow oversight, and transition support. The Director may temporarily perform some Project Manager tasks during the transition period, but these responsibilities should remain documented under the Project Manager role.

Office Manager

Responsible for lead flow, inspection bookings, quote follow-up, scheduling support, supplier confirmations, invoicing support, and day-to-day administration.

Project Manager

Accountable for project setup, procurement, scheduling, delivery coordination, variations, progress updates, quality control, and handover readiness.

Site Supervisor

Responsible for daily site execution, safety compliance, quality checks, client-facing site coordination, and practical handover delivery.

Crew

Responsible for completing assigned site tasks safely, following instructions, supporting site delivery, and escalating hazards or quality issues quickly.

Transition Note

During the transition period, the Director may temporarily perform some Project Manager responsibilities. However, these responsibilities should remain documented under the Project Manager role so the business can hand them over clearly as the role is filled.
